System Solutions for Living Spaces of the Future

Verl, October 2024. Presenting innovations in the areas of windows, doors, curtain walls, fire protection, roller shutters and sun protection, heroal will show new solutions and added value at BAU 2025, and address the key topics of climate-friendly construction, security, ease of use and design combined with maximum efficiency and process reliability in fabrication. As a provider of aluminium system solutions for the building shell, and interior and exterior spaces, heroal will also present a comprehensive 360° service offer and new digital tools for planning, fabrication, installation and aftersales at our Stand 310 in Hall B1.

Designing and enhancing the living spaces of the future: Under the motto ‘spaces for life’, heroal will showcase new products, services and digital solutions at BAU 2025, targeting the key issues of the industry and new added value in terms of sustainability, security, design and fabrication efficiency. In addition to the presentation of new product solutions across different systems, the trade fair stand will also focus on the extensive range of services and digital tools, designed to provide specialist customers with the best possible support from order acquisition to after-sales service.

heroal's trade fair appearance marks the end of the anniversary year 2024, in which the company celebrates its 150th anniversary. On the occasion of this milestone, the entire heroal team would like to express its sincere thanks for the many years of partnership and cooperation with a large number of specialist partners worldwide. The anniversary year will be celebrated with a big stand party at BAU 2025.

Extended applications thanks to innovative new designs

With innovations for residential and commercial construction, heroal is expanding its portfolio of system solutions for fabricators, architects and planners, and offers new, perfectly matched complete solutions in various product areas. One of the highlights heroal will present at BAU 2025 is the new external textile sun protection system heroal VS Z CS, which provides for a seamless partial integration into post-transom curtain walls. Combined with intelligent building control, it offers perfect protection against glare and heat. In the area of window and door systems, heroal will show several innovations that extend the application range of the system platforms and further enhance them in terms of fabrication efficiency, burglary protection, design and accessibility. Innovations in the area of fire protection and panic doors, roller shutter slat systems, and the expansion of the product portfolio in the area of sun protection and folding sliding systems also provide for new solutions for interior and exterior spaces.

For the flexible integration of heroal products into building technology, and for a convenient, barrier-free and intelligent building control and automation, heroal, together with the experts from Beckhoff Automation and Elektro Beckhoff, will present not only the digital control of the trade fair stand but also a supporting full-service offer for specialist customers, which covers all steps from planning to building operation.

At the trade fair, heroal will also focus on the many options the heroal system portfolio offers for architects and designers. With its industry-leading range of different surfaces and designs in more than 500 RAL and DB colours, its coating technology heroal Surface Design (SD) with wood, concrete or rust looks, and the exclusive Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours, heroal offers fabricators, architects and planners a great range of design options. Consistently geared to meeting the highest requirements in terms of surface quality, all of the products heroal will show at BAU 2025 will be coated in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier colours.

Fabrication efficiency and cost-effectiveness

In a special workshop area on the stand at the trade fair, heroal will present the advantages of heroal systems in terms of a particularly fast and efficient fabrication. In keeping with the key theme of BAU 2025, ‘Cost-effective construction’, interested parties can see for themselves the aluminium system provider’s particularly efficient fabrication solutions in live demonstrations.

These include the latest additions to the portfolio of the heroal D 72 PF EM system, which are two new variants for door panels: one 60 mm thick and one that covers the sash on both sides. heroal sun shading solutions will also be shown, available as system items, as kits with a high degree of prefabrication, and as heroal Ready prefabricated elements.

Added value for customers through digital solutions

From planning and quotation preparation to ordering, production and logistics, heroal offers digital tools that support the efficient and process-reliable implementation of projects. heroal has once again expanded its range of digital solutions. Enhanced functions in the document centre of the heroal Communicator specialist customer portal make it easier to find information from the planning phase. The heroal Business Configurator has also been further enhanced. Its interface to the Logikal planning tool enables even more convenient and reliable planning, calculation and ordering across product portfolios. New added value is offered by additional functions for the faster identification of heroal system components in incoming goods, storage or production, and for the complete component-related documentation and traceability.

Low-emission aluminium for sustainable building projects

With durable, circular and highly thermally insulated system solutions made from recycled materials, heroal contributes to the sustainability of current and future buildings, and supports architects and fabricators in meeting the highest sustainability standards. In order to effectively meet the challenges of climate change, and also to create buildings meeting the highest sustainability requirements and complete projects within the framework of green building standards such as LEED, DGNB or WELL, heroal will also offer all system solutions based on CO2-reduced aluminium and aluminium with a higher portion of recycled aluminium (heroal Low Carbon Aluminium) from 2025. The new concept will be shown at the trade fair - all exhibits will be made from CO2-reduced and recycled materials.
